Hi

I’m Ambar, daughter of the islands, volcanoes, the rainforest, the stars, coral reefs and fragrant Jasmine, here to get the most out of my human experience and have met incredible people on the way.

I’ve worked in the creative industry for years and am fortunate to spend my time being surrounded and inspired by amazing talent. This environment has taught me more than the creative aspect. It challenged me as an individual, leading me to burnout in the past, resulting to opening a door to self-exploration.

Many lives later, I went deeper. I made a friend in Amsterdam who worked on a breast cancer awareness art project and invited me to hold space for men and women with her during our workshops. I discovered that I fell into the demographic we shared stories about. My breast cancer diagnosis and recovery during the pandemic have led me to peel off more layers of myself through meditation, breath, the healing properties of sound, diving into my Javanese lineage and transgenerational healing, where wisdom lies.

Now, I’m on a journey of decolonising my ways of thinking, as the world is moving into a direction where we’re forgetting who we are to “belong”, and learning with loving rage how supremacy and capitalism have contributed to our historic amnesia.

Understanding fear and pain in our process of self-discovery, our relationship to it and initiation is one thing, but integrating the profound learnings into day-to-day life is where the magic happens, making me keen to co-create with you.

• Certified Integral Sound Healing Practitioner (IICT membership)

• Certified Breathwork Facilitator at Inspire Breathwork, rooted in embodied social justice and decolonial healing. (CPBA, UKBA, IBF Membership)

• Psychosynthesis Counsellor (BACP accreditation)

  in London, connecting the dots to innerstand this mysterious thing called Life.
